We had a great dinner at Palm Creek for Thanksgiving. All the time thinking about family & friends from years past.

Coos Bay

Not much to report from Salem, Or. We finished up our 'chores' there and are back on the road.
We are here in North Bend/ Coos Bay ,Oregon. Today is one of those beautiful Oregon coast days..............We are at The Mill Casino.......

Summer 2009

Salmon, ID 2009

A sample of the fish Bernie and I caught in lakes around Salmon, ID.
We have been in Salmon for about 4 weeks. Bernie & Carol for about 3 weeks, from here we head for the coast with a stopover near Seattle, Fall City.

Sometime in Sept we'll head back to Palm Creek


We stayed here at Salmon Meadows RV right in Salmon. The park is a little 'rustic' but we have had power & water & septic most of the time.

Karly's graduation

June 13th, Karly Viereck ,our first granddaughter graduated from Eastern Washington University.
Ceremony was held in Cheney, Wa ,near Spokane, Wa. Karly majored in Education and will be teaching Math, her student teaching will be in the Monroe, Wa school district next fall.

We all went to Blackwells RV Resort in Coeur D Lene, Id for a few days where we had grad party for family & friends of Karly.

Lily Hook 101 Birthday

Steve & Wendy. grandson & granddaughter of Lily Hook.
Lily attended her 101 st birthday at Wendy & Alex's home in Pateros, WA.
All her childern & grandchildern attended along with other friends.

Grandson ,Steve, gave Lily a ride back to Harmony House, her retirment home, in his new Corvette. We suspect they may have hit the 101 mark on the speedomerter.

Judy and I were thrilled to be included in the festivities.
We are now in Cheney , WA near Spokane for the graduation of our Granddaughter, Karly.
More about that after this weekend.

Judy's trip to Germany

Judy had a great trip to Germany, she visited Paris, Belgium many castles and Winery's all over Europe. She went to visit Cindy, her oldest daughter who lives and works in Germany.
Susan, youngest daughter also visited for two weeks, so you might imagine , they all had a great time.
I am posting some pictures. Judy is working on learning the process of posting to the 'blog' so she can help keep it up to date this summer. That is our goal anyway.;-)

DOG SHOW

Palm Creek Dog Show 2009 Feb.

While Judy is in Germany, I try to spend more time with Molly. On a lark , I decided to enter her in the Palm Creek Dog show.
Show won 2nd place for Best in Show,,, I have no idea who won 1st, but the judges must have been blind!!!!! Ha HA

She was very graceful and seem to love being center of attention;-)
